We support adults to live independently and on their terms.

SYD Supported Living was founded on a clear belief: adults with learning disabilities and autism deserve support that empowers them — not systems that limit their independence or potential.

Why We Built This Service

Our leadership team at SYD Supported Living has worked within the care system, supported loved ones with additional needs, and seen first-hand where services fall short. It's the foundation that everything we do is built on.

We've seen what happens when support is transactional rather than relational — when adults are managed rather than heard, when independence is talked about but never meaningfully enabled. We knew it could be done differently.

So we created a CQC-registered supported living service in Hampshire — one grounded in strong values, therapeutic practice, and a genuine commitment to long-term outcomes for every person we work with.

"We wanted to build something that feels less like a system and more like a genuine partnership — where every person's voice matters and real progress is always possible."

Our leadership team

We built SYD Supported Living because we believed care could be delivered differently. Our team combines professional expertise with lived experience, shaping our understanding of what truly great support looks like.

The Values We Live By

Our approach is built on three core values. These aren't aspirations — they shape how we show up for people every single day.

Do With, Not For

We work alongside the people we support, not above them. Every goal, every plan, every decision is shaped with the individual — because autonomy isn't just a principle, it's daily practice.

Lived Experience Leads

Our team brings first-hand experience of navigating the system and supporting loved ones with additional needs. It's this lived understanding — not just professional knowledge — that shapes how we care and support others.

Connection Matters

Care starts with relationships, not checklists. We take the time to understand each person we support — their interests, goals, and how they want to live — because real progress starts with feeling valued and a true sense of belonging.

Quality You Can Trust

As a CQC-registered provider, we are committed to services that are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. We apply REACH standards so that every person we support has the same opportunities, choices, and rights as any other citizen in their community.

Safe & Well-Led

Every staff member is values-recruited, fully trained, and supported through regular supervision and reflective practice. We don't just meet CQC standards — we build our culture around them, from safeguarding to medication management to de-escalation.

Outcomes That Last

We measure success by the progress people make — not just compliance with a care plan. Regular audits, family feedback, and honest review ensure we keep improving and keep putting the people we support at the centre of everything.
